This tile captures one of my favorite dog truths: the way a single flicker outside can pull them into full, breath‑held focus. In Squirrel?, a pup sits at the window, mesmerized by whatever just shifted in the world beyond the glass. Maybe it’s a squirrel. Maybe it’s a leaf. Maybe it’s absolutely nothing. But the moment is real.

Hand‑drawn into porcelain and framed in a soft Sea Blue glaze, this piece holds that tiny spark of curiosity dogs carry everywhere. It’s quiet, funny, and a little suspenseful — a small window into the way they see the world.

Each tile is individually made, with its own drawing, glaze variation, and surface texture. The title Squirrel? is imprinted on the back. Because of the firing process, the tile has a subtle concave shape that gives it a sculptural presence on the wall.
